It is the most wonderful time of the year… Time for the annual team building!
And this year, we had so many reasons to celebrate – the recent strategic acquisition by Inetum, our excellent results as a company, the expansion of the team with outstanding talents, and so much more.
Joined by our colleagues from around the world, we had two wonderful days filled with smiles, games, new friendships, and unique stories to share.
We went to the beautiful Bulgarian mountains and kicked off the first day with team-building activities specially created to develop the four pillars of a good collective – communication, teamwork, trust, and creativity.
Communication
The first game, “Rope lines”, focused on communication and balance in groups of two people.

Teamwork
The second one was dedicated to team efforts where the only way to succeed and unlock the “secret code” is to work together. The fun is visible in the smiles of the Do IT Wisers while playing.

Trust
Trust is one of the most important aspects when it comes to building a strong team and healthy environment at work. Relying on your colleagues to have your back no matter what creates that inner motivation to always strive for excellence and help each other with knowledge, experience, or simply friendship and support. In this case, we were blinded and guided by our colleagues through obstacles, trying to get to the endpoint without breaking them or falling.

Creativity
Despite the common perception about IT companies, our work requires a lot of creativity. That was challenged with our last game to build a stable bridge with just ten wooden beams. Although not all ideas worked out, we had some interesting futuristic concepts.

And after the traditional awards ceremony, the team decided to celebrate with a round of champagne opening competition. We bet you can guess what happened after this picture.

Our team building couldn’t have a better finish. We had an amazing surprise – one of our Project Managers, Ivaylo Donkov, revealed another talent of his – playing a traditional Bulgarian pipe. We are really grateful to him and his group for making us part of this magical performance.

The next Do IT Wise adventure awaits.
